The Hamburg district of St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn are known far beyond Germany’s borders for entertainment and nightlife. Regardless of whether you’re looking for theatres, restaurants or famous clubs like the "Grosse Freiheit 36",  in this neighbourhood there’s something for everyone. There’s always something going on at Hamburg’s Reeperbahn. But things really get cooking at the end of September. That’s when the bass sets the tone along the city’s most “sinful mile”. It’s time for the Reeperbahn Festival, with indie, punk, pop and electronic.

This annual four-day hybrid of music festival and gathering place for the international music industry is equally popular among music fans and industry professionals – a fact that, after eleven years, has become known around the world. The Reeperbahn Festival lets you discover new favourite bands, develop innovative business ideas, forge new contacts and debate recent challenges in the music business.

With its dense network of clubs and venues, Hamburg’s St. Pauli district is the perfect place for the festival. All of the more than 70 stages are within walking distance, making it possible to keep even an ambitious concert schedule and to attend a large number of the evening’s acts.

Europe's biggest Clubfestival!

The festival brings together representatives from the international music business, with meetings and networking events to establish new contacts and plenty of opportunities to present and debate news and trends in the music industry. A variety of workshops are offered by different organisers, and the many live sessions are a special experience for the visitors. Above all, the festival is a stage for up-and-coming artists as well as established acts from around the world. The ARCOTEL Onyx serves as a hub and networking area for festival participants. Lectures, performances and panel discussions are held in the suites, in the Wiener Bistro, in the lobby and in the hotel’s exclusive boardroom.

The Reeperbahn Festival takes place every year in Hamburg at the end of September. The ARCOTEL Onyx has been an official partner of the Festival for several years, and offers visitors and guests the chance to stay right in the heart of the Festival, and also the ideal location for conferences and concerts.

The Reeperbahn Festival Lounge in the ARCOTEL Onyx is a central meeting point for all visitors to the Festival. It is located in the hotel’s foyer, and it is open 24 hours. The Delegates Bar is open daily late into the night, serving value-for-money drinks to visitors.

In total, there are 600 programme events for the 30,000 visitors, including around 400 concerts, 30 art programmes and over 150 conference events under the overall Reeperbahn Festival umbrella. This brings together concerts from various pop-culture genres with artistic formats and a platform for those involved in music and the digital economy.
