WIMBERGERs Jogging Tips
Course 1 - Türkenschanzpark
- Mainly flat, partly downhill, partly asphalted streets, partly asphalt paths in the park. How to get there: From the West Railway Station "Westbahnhof" to "Währinger Straße/Volksoper" and bus 40A to Türkenschanzpark. The course in the park can be chosen individually. Then Peter Jordan Straße (direction city centre) - to the right Gregor Mendel Straße - through the chestnut alleys - Cottagegasse - Währinger Park. The course in the Währinger Park can be chosen individually. Transport: approx. 5 min. by underground and approx. 10 min. by bus.
Course 2 - Schönbrunn Palace
- Mainly flat. If you visit the Gloriette, partly uphill. How to get there: By tram line 58 from the West Railway Station "Westbahnhof" to "Schönbrunn". The course in Schönbrunn Park can be chosen individually. Transport: approx. 15 min.
Course 3 - City centre
- The course leads through the most famous shopping streets, along numerous interesting monuments: the buildings on the Ringstraße, the Stadtpark, St. Stephens Cathedral, City Centre, Imperial Palace, Museum of Natural History and Museum of Fine Arts, MuseumsQuartier, Spittelberg.
