Hotel ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin

My stay in Arcotel Velvet Berlin was really pleasant. The hotel is very well located, the bedrooms are beautiful and the restaurant is excellent. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

We loved our room, it was modern, artistic and clean. However, we didn't have a kettle and needed to ask for one. Apart from that the location is fantastic, reception staff were very helpful and friendly and the free Wifi is always a winner when your travelling :)

it was nice, the only thing I would have to say is that the phone did not work properly and the shower was leaking. Other than that all was great. Thanks for a nice stay.

Was a great stay and the Front Office team were extremely helpful. Would recommend the hotel to friends.

The Hotel is very well located close to bars,restraunts and tourist attractractions both on foot and within 100mts of underground network. Arcotel is modern with clean rooms and pleasent staff. I would recommend to anyone for a good value for money hotel in central Berlin.

We had a great weekend stay just before Xmas 2011. The hotel is well situated, the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The only issue I could find, and I had to look hard, was the dam awful music played in the bar, but hey you dont have to listen to it.

I really enjoyed our stay at Arcotel. I requested a non smoking room with a view out onto the street and the hotel could not have been more friendly about providing that. It was quiet, really nice room, incredible shower and the location is great. Right next door is a fascinating building that shows 60 years of Berlin history, now housing art. I definitely recommend this place. There is even a really good typical Berlin restaurant right across the street. The New Synagogue is right down the block. Also, a great small museum about The Ramones - recommend that too for any fans.

My husband and I loved our stay at the ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin. The hotel is hip, modern, and perfectly located, right around the corner from a subway station and within easy walking distance of major attractions. Our room was impeccably clean and spacious, and the front-desk staff was very helpful, cheerfully helping us with restaurant reservations. This hotel is a rare value - thoughtfully designed, convenient, and affordable. The next time we're back in Berlin, we'd stay here without a doubt.

Good location, friendly staff and close to various small restaurants and street cafe's. Hotel is not clearly marked, look for the Velvet Lounge.

As you see from my rating I am very pleased indeed with Arcotel Velvet. That said, you have to do something about two things: The breakfast situation (you don't really have any) and, for me more important, WIFI in the rooms. Newer lap tops and iPads do not have plugs for cable. That was in the old days.

Fabulous hotel, excellent rooms. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, brilliantly located. Couldn't recommend it enough as the perfect place to stay in Berlin. Will be recommending it to my friends

A totally positive experience staying at the hotel. Great location and very attractive room, modern bath, and nice lobby. Staff was very helpful with all questions. A good coffee house next door as breakfast not included.
