Can I change or cancel my reservation at any time?
Please see your reservation confirmation for precise cancellation terms and conditions.

What happens to my room if I arrive after 6.00 p.m.?
If you have not guaranteed your reservation, we reserve the right to reallocate your room.

What do I do if I wish to confirm my reservation but I don’t have a credit card?
You can also transfer the amount of your reservation in advance, or send us a written confirmation.

Which credit cards do you accept? Can I change money?
We accept VISA, VPAY, Mastercard, Diners Club und American Express. We can offer our guests a money changing service up to an amount of EUR 500.00.

How far away is the airport / train station? Does the hotel offer a shuttle service?
Blue Danube Airport Linz is around 15 km from the hotel, and Linz main train station is 3 km away. The hotel does not offer a shuttle service, but on request we are happy to organise transfers for an extra charge. Find more tips on arriving without a car under “Public transport”.

Can I bring my dog to the hotel? How much extra does that cost?
You are welcome to bring your dog. We charge a fee of EUR 15.00 per night.

What facilities are in your rooms?

Are all rooms air-conditioned?
All floors have a centrally controlled ventilation system which controls temperature by floor. In addition, all rooms have a separate radiator, and the windows can be opened.

Is there (free) internet access?
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in all public areas in the hotel, as well as in the rooms. The following log on options are available:

  • Ticket from reception
  • Login by room number
  • Login using your FaceBook account

The hotel lobby also has a dedicated business corner with a generous desk, PC and printer, which may be used free of charge.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel / are there smoking rooms?
Smoking is generally not permitted throughout the hotel.

Does your hotel have its own carpark? Does this cost anything?
Public parking is available right in front of the hotel. Our hotel guests receive a reduced rate of EUR 16.00 for 24 hours. You can find more information under “Car and Parking”.

Do you offer a laundry / ironing service?
A laundry service is available from Monday to Friday. If you hand laundry in by 8.30 a.m., it will be returned by 6.00 p.m. on the same day. Laundry which is not handed in by 8.30 a.m. will be ready the following day. Your laundry can also be ironed for the minimal fee of EUR 3.00 to EUR 11.70 per item of clothing.

Does the hotel have a wellness area?
The hotel wellness area is located on the ground floor and features a Finnish sauna, steam room, rainfall showers and a quiet area. Opening hours: daily from 7.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m., sauna and steam room opening hours: 4.00 to 11.00 p.m. Also earlier on request.

What are the opening hours in dasRESTAURANT? Do you offer 24 hour room service?
dasRESTAURANT is open from Sunday to Friday from 11.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 to 11.00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 6.00 to 11.00 p.m.. We can offer room service from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m..

Can you have breakfast as a non-resident?
Of course - our sumptuous breakfast buffet in dasRESTAURANT is also available to guests not staying in the hotel for EUR 17.00 per person. On Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays we also offer our wonderful Late Riser Breakfast in our KÉ café & bar  for EUR17.00 per person from 10.00 a.m. to noon, as well as an á la carte breakfast from 8.00 a.m..

Do you organise brunches or themed evenings on Sundays or Public Holidays?
Every Saturday from 6.30 p.m. we offer our “Candlelight Dinner” with a four-course menu in a romantic setting. On the first Wednesday of every month (except July and August) from 6.00 p.m. we host our “Art & Culture” event with commented tastings in our KÉ café & bar. In addition we offer highlights such as our Vital Brunch, an Easter brunch or our exclusive New Year‘s Eve Dinner. You can find an overview on all our events here.

Do you have meeting rooms in the hotel?
The hotel has a total of 8 meeting rooms on the ground floor and first floor, mainly with natural light and views of the Danube. The rooms range from 25 to 210 m² in size with space for up to 180 people. You will find more information about our meeting services here.

Is a video projector included in the daily rate?
A video projector is included in the regular daily rate.

Do you have to pay room rental when you book a wedding in the dasRESTAURANT?
We do not charge any additional room rental for company and Christmas parties, private celebrations of any kind including weddings, christenings or graduations.
