ARCOTEL Hotels gave away very special Christmas holidays
As part of the "ARCOTEL Bells" Christmas charity project ARCOTEL Hotels gave away a three-day break over Christmas for one needy family each from Austria and Germany. The families were treated to board and lodging in a 4-star-hotel of the ARCOTEL group. The winners of the competition were the L. family, a family of four from Steyr (Austria), and the N. family, a family of three from Hamburg (Germany).
The L. family chose to stay at the ARCOTEL Camino Stuttgart while the N. family opted for a Christmas break at the ARCOTEL Kaiserwasser Vienna. Before their departure the children were invited to write a letter to Santa Claus and ARCOTEL Hotels fulfilled all of their wishes. The lists contained mostly video games and toys. "The best aspect about this Christmas charity project was to be able to make families very happy, directly and without any intermediaries", said Manfred Mayer, CEO of the ARCOTEL Hotel AG. Weidenhof therapy centre
For many years we have supported the Weidenhof therapy centre in Grafenstein/Carinthia. Whether Charity Gala at the Vienna ARCOTEL Wimberger or the opportunity to make an online transfer of 1.- EURO to the therapy centre: we show our commitment and it is important to us that each of the nine hotels demonstrates their responsibility regionally too.
At the most recent presentation in August 2011 a cheque for 3,500.- euro and ten tickets for the musical CATS including two nights at one the Vienna ARCOTEL Hotels was handed over.

RED NOSES INTERNATIONAL IN CROATIA
Since 2010 the Red Noses International organization has been active in Croatia. Since then it has done more than 42 hospital visits.
In April 2011 a Charity Evening was held at the ARCOTEL Allegra Zagreb in conjunction with Red Noses International and Libris Kommunikacije.
17 teams took part in a quiz during a weekend at the Vienna ARCOTEL Kaiserwasser and the evening’s proceeds were donated to a very good cause– Red Noses International.
