Since February 2007, Manfred Mayer has been the sole CEO of ARCOTEL Hotel AG. Under his leadership, the ARCOTEL group was able to improve its figures on a continued basis.
Other achievements:
Work: five hotel openings and implementation of important measures to restructure the company’s management organisation. Introduction of a 4-star-superior concept for all new hotels.
Highlights 2007–2012: In the ranking of the trade weekly "Allgemeine Hotel- und Gastronomie-Zeitung", the German ARCOTEL hotels were listed among the TOP 50 of hotel groups generating the highest turnover in Germany, coming in among the top 15 with a turnover per room of 35,455 euro.
In May 2012, the new hotel ARCOTEL Onyx opens in Hamburg.
Since 2007, the group’s ratings from Austrian banks "Raiffeisenbank", "Erste Bank", and "Bank Austria" have improved from partly -5 to -1.
Also, guest reviews from different online portals have always been very favourable. Figures provided by TRUSTYOU, a technology provider for online reviews and social media, confirm that ARCOTEL Hotels has scored a higher level of brand satisfaction compared with international hotel chains. On 27 January 2011, TrustYou Review Analyst4 showed ARCOTEL Hotels to have achieved an excellent score of 89 out of 100 points.
In the TREUGAST investment ranking, the group was rated AA in Austria and A in Germany over the previous years.
Under Mayer‘s leadership, the ARCOTEL group has introduced its revenue structure, established its German head office, set up the PR and Online Marketing Departments and launched the current format of its website, which was revised in 2011. In 2007, ARCOTEL was given a new corporate design.
