Weissenhof room
This room reflects the spirit of Stuttgart’s Weissenhofsiedlung. This residential estate is an important example of “new architecture” constructed under the artistic direction of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.
Its motto – “Housing for the modern urbanite” – is evoked by original furniture, such as the "LC2 chair" designed by Le Corbusier or the "Wassily chair" designed by Marcel Breuer, and colours typical of the early 20th century.
