Zagreb - the city of art and culture! Discover the famous Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb’s impressive cathedral, or allow yourself to be enchanted in the National Theatre!
This neo-Gothic cathedral is one of Croatia’s most important religious buildings. At 108 metres, it is also Croatia’s tallest. You can still see objects dating from the 11th to the 19th centuries in the treasury today.
The Croatian National Theatre was inaugurated in 1895 by the then Austro-Hungarian Emperor Franz Joseph I. Countless famous Croatian artists have used the theatre as a springboard to an international career. Today, it offers a varied programme of ballet, opera and plays.

The Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by architect Igor Franjic Platz, offers a constantly growing collection as well as international exhibitions. Particularly impressive is the double helix, a 10-metre slide by German artist Carsten Höller, which the more daring visitor can use to exit the museum.
